Baby Frankie Update!

The good news is I passed my NST on Monday, and Frankie was so excited to be able to go with me since he was off from work. One thing is for sure our little man is definetely VERY active! I had a follow-up appointment this afternoon with my OB and it looks like it will be either Wednesday or Thursday of next week. Baby Frankie looks great, but he is still nice and cozy. I'm not dilated or effaced at all :-( He wants me to be able to take one more NST before the baby arrives (on next Monday), so I will more than likely schedule my induction on next Tuesday. As for the severe nausea and groin/leg pain, there isn't a whole lot he can do for me..just rest. We will continue to keep everyone posted, as soon as we know something. Of course we will also let you know if he should decide to make his appearance sooner.

We had another very busy weekend. My parents came into town early Saturday morning. My mom and I spent all day and most of the day Sunday doing the final cleaning show-down before my little man arrives. I can now honestly say my house is spotless...that includes ceiling fans, vents, floors, baseboards etc. My dad and Frankie spent all day both days in the yard working on a garden and our flowerbeds. Our front and back yard are really starting to look great, another few more weeks and they should be perfect. Bella enjoyed having lots of people in town to entertain, and spent most of her weekend in her pool in the backyard! Needless to say we all crashed Sunday afternoon and Monday.

Our funny story for the day...Daddy and Bella were working on her numbers tonight, and we have been having lots trouble with number four. Well Bella officially counted to four tonight, but it was in SPANISH ! Frankie made a computer game on the laptop that says one/uno etc. Bella counted one, two, three, quattro, five..... So I may have a one-word bilingual child !!

We obviously will be staying close to home for the rest of the week again !! But no doubt we will have more funny stories to post.

it was an itsy bitsy....

teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini that she wore for the first time today !!!

I couldn't resist...is she not the cutest thing you have ever seen? I just love love love this swim suit !! shhhh...don't tell Daddy

Again..I hate to admit that we don't have a ton of new news to report. It has been a rather quiet and slow week for us. Bella and I have been staying close to home for obvious reasons. So I've been trying to fill our day with lots of fun. As of right now the only activities she is interested in is coloring and reading books or being outside. Oh well..those alphabet letters can wait ;-) and Bella will continue to think that both a cow and a dog say "moo". We did make it the splash pad again today to get out of the house. Bella of course loved every second of it, enough for me to even think if it is possible to build one in our backyard.

I did have a doctor's appointment this week with my endocrinologist. The good news is my blood sugar numbers look great, the bad news is it is 99.9% positive that I am officially a diabetic. We are hoping to be able to control with oral meds after Baby Frankie is born. At least I know I have a great support system.
As for a Baby Frankie update. I check back into the hospital on Monday for another NST, and then have a follow-up doctor's appointment on Tuesday. I'm HOPING that we schedule something for the end of next week or the following week. This week has been rough with lots of contractions, leg pain, and nausea. I'm very ready to see my little man. We will keep everyone posted !
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend !

We're getting close....

Quality "pedicure" time after bath with Daddy....(do you see her head full of curls)

The Trifilio's had another great weekend !!! Saturday was full with final preparations for Baby Frankie. Daddy, Bella, and I spent most of the day outside, with some other honey-do's mixed in..we cleaned my car (aka cleaned up the 32ounce Coke Frankie spilled in the back of it), installed the car seat, officially set-up the crib in baby Frankie's room, sterilized baby stuff, and even managed some quality yard work in. Sunday we wrapped up the last few items on the list, and finished off the afternoon with some FUN IN THE SUN !!! A GREAT time was had by all, Bella played in the park, the sand box, and the water. She loved having her Bryce with her !!! Of course our weekend wouldn't be complete without adding that Frankie happily followed through on his "Paint Ball" commitment to Mike and T :-) late Sunday afternoon and the Tipsy Clover team WON !!! Frankie came home with a huge smile and loved this new found "stress release".

Today I went back to the hospital for another non-stress test. Baby Frankie was not a very good boy the first time around, but the second 20 minutes he did great! Another big thank you to Jennifer aka Ja-Ja for watching Bella. Bella knows how to give her mom warm fuzzy feelings, as when I returned to pick up Bella she ignored me for the first 10 minutes and then when I told her it was time to leave she said an emphatic "NO!" That is true love for you!

We finished off our afternoon with a nap for mom and Bella and playtime together.

Since my Ob-Gyn is on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean right now, let's pray that Baby Frankie can hold off for a week!

not a whole lot to report...

Bella and I have been staying close to home for the past couple of days per doctor's orders. So that has left Bella and I with LOTS of book reading and playing. I'm cherishing every moment of it, as these next couple of weeks will be our last one on one time together probably for a while. Bella and I did manage to make it to Target & Babies R Us to pick our last few "must-have" items for baby Frankie. I finally feel ready....aside from a few honey-do's for Frankie we are ready !!! The bags are packed....now we just wait !!! As of right now we are still looking at the very end of May or the first few days in June.

The best part of our day today was a surprise visit from Aunt Kimmy !!! She looked AMAZING as always, and was able to see Bella with some quality Dora time ;-) She also was able to observe the damage Bella can do to the house in a matter of a few hours..AKA I think we both have cabin fever. Good thing she is family ;-) If only we could have her surprise visits more often. We love her so much !!! Hopefully we will be able to see her very soon !!! I think daddy is going to bribe her with cooking, as he was very disappointed he missed out on the fun.

Congratulations Aunt T !!!

We had a wonderful weekend !!! Saturday morning Frankie, Bella, and I woke up early to make the drive to college station to see our Tiffany graduation from college. The trip went smoothly, especially since we had Grandma Bird with us entertaining Bella. I'm happy to report that Bella was an angel through out the whole ceremony. Of course between Mike and Daddy they kept her well entertained and fed. It was so bittersweet to see our Tiffany walk across the stage. She will always be our baby T, but we've never been more proud of her. I still get weepy just thinking about her...wasn't it just yesterday I was watching her dance at a football game???? We ended the day with a festive party at Grandpa Freckle's. The best part (aside from celebrating with T), was to see Bella play with her cousins. It was super cute..They all were just adorable together. We spent the night at Grandpa's and Bella gave me the best Mother's Day Gift ever, she slept in until 7:45am !!!! I think Bella can't wait for mom to pop out her baby brother because that means another round of playtime with Aunt Nicole, Uncle Chris, and cousins Kyle and Carter.

Sunday we spend a wonderful relaxing day at home, where my amazing husband took care of my every need. Plus I was able to take a FOUR hour nap...it was heaven !!! We were able to see Grandma Bird for a little bit in the evening and celebrate then off to bed.

We have another busy week planned trying to wrap everything up before the baby arrives, doctor's appointments, and play dates. I had my first NST this morning, and everything went great. A BIG THANK YOU to Jennifer for watching my little princess. I promise to keep everyone posted on any new due date info. I receive.

As promised here are some pics from the Splash Pad and a few others from the end of last week...I will post some Graduation Pics as soon as I receive them, our camera battery died as soon as we arrived :-(

Bella with one her "Frankie faces" :-)

I babysat Kylie on Friday..and Bella and Kylie had a blast playing chase...

more fun at the splash pad...she LOVES her water !!!

35 weeks pregnant

18mth check-up !!!

showing off her sticker from the doctor...

We are happy to report that Bella received an excellent clean bill of health today !!! Her weight is 26lbs and 11ounces (80%) and 34 1/4 inches in length (90%). She did a great job, and mom couldn't have been more proud. She also received her physical for school this fall, we are lucky to have a great Pediatrician that isn't going to make us come back in August.

Bella and I had a great day at home. Lots of playing and a ton of book reading! Her new favorite past time. I'm happy to announce her new favorite word of the moment is "elbow", unfortunately dada showed her a "karate elbow" move. So I'm afraid the next time she goes to show someone her elbow, she is going to take out their nose. At least I finally found a ballet school that will take 2 year olds, as for grace and elegant moves November can't come fast enough ;-)

We did have fun teasing dada today. Somehow he managed to leave for work without his phone, wallet, lunch, glasses, and security badges. BUT !!! he FINALLY remembered (without my nagging) that Tuesday is trash day, and he also remembered that trash day involves more than just the kitchen trash can. :-) Needless to say dada made it home in one piece, even if it was a very HUNGRY piece !!

Tomorrow look forward to pictures of Bella debuting some new swimwear from Aunt Kimmy!! as we are off to the splash pad.

Only three more days until our T is an official college graduate.

can you tell we are getting sleepy....NAP TIME !!

I think Bella has decided to take a few lessons on the sly from Carter...is my daughter actually climbing???

Baby Shower Weekend !

Happy Cinco de Mayo !!
The Trifilio's had a wonderful weekend !!! My parent's arrived in town late Friday night, and we hit the ground running on Saturday. With a house full of people, we were all lucky to be dressed and ready and out the door by 2pm. The shower was incredible, and Frankie and I both were so blessed to be surrounded by so many of our closest friends and family. We are still so overwhelmed with all of the generosity and kindness we received for not only our little Frankie but for our Bella too. Saturday evening we spent catching up on a little R&R with myself and my mom going through all of our goodies. I finally feel that we are one step closer to getting prepared for our new arrival. Just a few more things and we will be set !!!

Sunday we were busy busy busy !!! Mom, Bella, and I went shopping :-) and Frankie and the rest of the crew slaved in the backyard preparing to re-landscape the backyard. Mental note we still need Rachel's husband to come over and help my poor husband. Sunday afternoon we had to say our goodbyes, but already scheduled their next visit before the baby arrives.

Our big news is that Sunday evening Frankie assembled Bella's big girl bed. It was bittersweet for me, as I found myself sitting on the floor in her room just crying with my little angel growing up so fast. Where has the time gone?
We celebrated the event with new Dora Sheets and Pillow for Bella, which were huge hits. (Mom still hasn't picked out her big girl bedding yet) I'm happy to report the transition went very well, she only got out of bed once last night and zero times at nap time today. We did still leave her crib in her room for a little bit longer just in case. But so far so good....time will tell all !!

Today we went to a Cinco de Mayo playdate and spent the rest of the day at home out of the rainy yucky weather !! We have a busy week ahead of us with an 18mth check-up for Bella, an OB appt. for mom, several play dates, and best of all preparing for AUNT T TO GRADUATE FROM COLLEGE THIS WEEKEND !!!

A few of my favorite pics from the shower...

Finally heading towards healthy....

Bella and I both are finally on the mend. The antibiotics have kicked in and and we both have some energy back. She actually is at 99%, and mom is still dragging behind. I think Baby Frankie is sucking up all of my healthy vibes !! I did take her to the park yesterday afternoon to enjoy some fun in the sun, and catch up some much needed Vitamin D. Today I felt good enough to run some errands after my doctor's appointment. The doctor's appointment went good, they increased my insulin again. What can I say, I must be having one super sweet baby !!! Off to shop with my princess...we had a blast !!! She was so good, we came home with a brand new box of side walk chalk.

The rest of the afternoon was filled with typical house hold chores, laundry, dishes, etc. which leads to our Bella story for the day....I walked into our bedroom to hang up some clothes, and heard Bella talking away. As I came back into the living room, I realized she was talking away on my cell phone !! AHHHH...(this isn't the first time, as she is well known for calling the emergency button on Frankie's phone). I grabbed the phone and luckily she had called Daddy. Frankie took much pleasure in telling me that he answered his phone, and was surprised to hear a "Hi Daddy" and a constant flow of conversation regarding Dora after that. Needless to say all phones are now hidden from the little angel.

We have a full day tomorrow...with a play date at the park, preparing for family to come into town, and getting ready for the baby shower this weekend.

Still sending Big hugs and love to Grandpa Freckle !!

Here are a few pics to catch you up on....

Helping daddy outside sweeping !!

We love accessories...hats are our choice for the moment !!!

CHEESE !!! Don't you just love her tan...she is already darker than mom !!!
